“Providing support to organizations to identify inefficiencies and help implement measures for productivity improvements.”
The Productivity & Innovation Centre (PIC) supports Small Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) across northeastern Ontario through its innovative programming and services. Our service area includes:
- Timmins and Area
- Highway 11 corridor, Hearst to Englehart, including Iroquois Falls and Kirkland Lake
- Indigenous communities along the James Bay Coast, including Attawapiskat, Kashechewan, Fort Albany, Moosonee, and Moose Factory
- Highway 101 and 144 – west to Chapleau and south to Gogama
The PIC is co-located with the Timmins Economic Development Corporation and The Business Enterprise Centre. Collectively, we are a “one-stop shop” to assist clients during all stages of business development, from idea through to commercialization and growth. We also collaborate with northeastern Ontario organizations to ensure you access all available support.
The PIC is part of the provincial Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE), and through this network we connect clients to value resources outside our region for business development, seed and growth funding, angel investment, innovation, applied research, and commercialization.
