Small Business Week 2016
“Staying connected with organizations across the region through regular and informative events.”
Timmins, October 17th 2016
NEOnet was proud to host an event during Small Business Week again this year. This year’s topic covered Social Media Metrics in the form of a panel. NEOnet chose local experts in the field to share their experience and knowledge of the topics.
The panelists were:
- Josée Campeau-Rouselle, Manager of Communications and Media Relations at College Boreal
- Brianna Humphrey, Owner/Operator of Radical Gardens
- Jill Thayer, Program Coordinator/Trainer Head Start in Business of North Claybelt, CFDC
- Stéphane Gallant (Moderator), Business Development Specialist of Timmins Economic Development Corporation
The 19 attendees learnt from local business owners and experts how to monitor and measure online success using social media metrics. They also received a hand-out to take home and put into practice the skills they learnt during the presentation.
Due to NEOnet’s catchment area being vast we included something different and new this year as part of our offering. Anyone outside of the Timmins area could has the opportunity to join online live via a webinar link. 9 attendees from the region took advantage of this new offering.
